Well, I already told you I am working on a Blythe App with my husband. The app is generally done but is still waiting for review at Apple’s. We are now building up a web app for those who have no smartphones at all and you Android users out there. We may not be able to make a real Android app these days but we will find a way to include you!
Further on I am taking part in a big Blythe project as the team’s rerooter (will show you my results pretty soon) and last but not least I am restoring another Kenner girl: Brooklyn of supertaan who I met some days ago in Berlin. So far I cleaned Brooklyn’s face, repaired her lip rubs, got rid of one or two leeeeeettle scratches and refreshed her eye-make up (need to do it once more). Also she had her first hair treatment.
Ever since the iPhone came out I wanted to make a Blythe app. A few weeks ago Sven (aka. Mr. *jaszmade) came up with a cute idea: Why not creating a free app for the Blythe Community on flickr to tell each other where and how we are!? You know something like I am quirky today (orange) because I just got a new Blythe or I am mad (green) because my photos are too dark… or… [whatever] you can think of…
We did!!! We built it!!! Look, here is the idea:
1. After the App is loaded you have the chance to login with your flickr account. You need to be logged in to share your thoughts with the community or you just can post the mood without your own input.
2. Choose one of the Blythe moods/colours (left) and tell your friends on the next screen (right) what you are up to (obviously you would choose “click me” to get to the the input field) and show the map with all our thoughts and moods (you can click on the little faces to see what your friends are writing):
While I was working on my craft room redo, I heard something cracking, smacking and burping as if the room was full of ancient Neanderthalers and look what I found:
“Merry Christmas, landlady!” cried the minx in the stripey well known to you as Mofa “BadAss” Pop, also know as “the Parco” and she heralded: “Come on gals, we get presents now, all doors open and make this human decorate the tree, huh!?”
So these are the last few I AM Helmets on the list It was so fun to make them but now I am looking forward to new designs. Still if you feel like getting one, you can always drop me a note using the following contact form. Cheers!
