There is a big project planned in the Blythe Community: A book dedicated to the Love of Blythe by Fanny Zara, Jean Yates and Cindy Sowers. There are 7 teams of dolly artists all over the world each creating a unique doll through a collaborative work.

As some of you may know I am responsible for hair and story of Team Yellow’s Collaboration Girl.

My talented co-workers are in alphabetic order Camilla (photos), Frédérique (costume), Ina (face up) and Suzy (accessories) and I am mighty proud of our results so far.

After a hard time trying out different styles, I decided on just a little hair sculpture, something smooth and nice but not too overwhelming with a bun and curls and still versatile enough to even being able to sport some extra accessories like Suzy’s crown (see pic above).

The scalp is rerooted with finest mohair of mohairhouse, for me the best mohair supplyer out there (Thanks Sue!). I dyed it reddish blonde for a slight celtic touch, pretty north european and I am happy how it worked out.

It’s so hard to let her go but she is now on her way to Camilla who will bring her to life in the norwegian woods
