This little darling is a commission I am working on.

She was rescued by Abbie before, who cleaned her and gave her a little make-over. Now her new owner asked me to give her a platinum mohair reroot with the hairdo of the Kenner Auburn Brunettes like Silk’s.

So far I got the mohair, dyed it and tried to change the original Kenner scalp for a CoolCat one. With a little work it fits but needs to be painted and glued to her head afterwards. Otherwise you have serious gaps as you can see especially because the Kenner hardcap lost all its picks already.

I am not horrified by the fact of gluing the scalp to her head even if I know some Kenner restorers may start crying icon smile WIP Project: Rerooting A Kenner

But there is no other way, I guess. Okay, let’s start the reroot!
